Egg-cellent Easter 2012

The Deer Valley Community Center had the best Easter Event that was free but we had to register so it was not crowded! It was AMAZING! We loved every second. The girls met and took picture with the Easter Bunny and they gave us a free 5x7 print right then and there.

We love our double sit-n-stand stroller. Charlotte and Daphne both got balloon animals - Daphne did not get to keep hers for long (it was a cute lady bug bracelet).

Above is Blair and the girls listening to story time. Below is crafting station. Charlotte made a frame for her Easter Bunny picture and a little bunny basket.

Then the highlight of the event: live, 2 day old chicks and geese!

So Precious! (The baby goose is pretty cute too)
Daphne took a nap and was not bothered by all the people ooh-ing and aah-ing her, or the tamborines they had for the kids. They even had a snack for the kids: carrots, celery, cuties and baby bottles of water. Pretty much the snack Charlotte has 3 times a week - but at least she liked it!

 We are a happy family!

The egg hunt! (Or hurry and grab an egg before they disappear.)

 Happy with the loot!

Then we headed over to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple. It was so neat! We arrived hours early and had dinner and fun with those crazy Coronados! When we got in the car afterwards, Charlotte said with tears in her eyes "Mommy, I really love Julia and the boys." We do love them! It was a great night and a great way to show Charlotte the true meaning of Easter. She had a lot of questions afterward and had a really hard time with how mean people treated Jesus Christ before and on The Cross. The performance really left an impression on her.

We had a fun Easter photo shoot for Daphne's 6-month pictures! I am still learning to use my awesome camera. So please be patient with all the different settings I used.

The Easter Bunny came this morning and hid eggs in the front yard. Lots of fun!

She thought it was great some eggs were hidden in the mailbox. (this was 6:30am, she still has sleepy eyes)

Then after church we had another photo shoot in their dresses from Grandma Darlene.

I love my girls, my family and the Savior. He has made it possible for us to be together forever
Happy Easter Everyone!
