We decided to be tourists for the day and went to the Capitol. We took a tour and it was interesting hearing all the state history again I learned in school, and some interesting facts I didn't know.

Animated even in the elevator! She did really well while we took a tour...thank goodness for fruit snacks and her fondness of doodling in her notebook.

It was a good day to go...it was while they were still waiting for the new budget to be finalized, so it was not busy and not crowded at all.
